Description

Brent is the Borough of Cultures - the most diverse in London - and as a Council we believe in delivering for our communities. We will deliver 1,000 council homes, continue with our award-winning regeneration schemes and reshape the way we deliver frontline services.

As a member of the Corporate Management Team your responsibility will be Council wide with accountability for Regeneration, Environment and Property.

This key leadership role leads on improving the lived experience for of all of our residents spanning highways, planning, licensing, public realm, property, regulatory services, employment and skills and, community safety. It demands a regeneration or environment or property professional who is passionate about shaping and delivering better outcomes for our residents, businesses and visitors.

Working closely with elected members, who are actively involved, you will lead a high performing team of well-regarded Directors and hugely talented staff. Your breadth of experience will be underpinned by your understanding of the demands and complexity of working at a senior level in a fast-paced urban local authority.
